How Should I Care For and Clean Grubs Boots?
• Whilst the rubber and nylon uppers are very durable, it is essential to ensure that you maintain them with regular cleaning and conditioning to prevent damage.
• We recommend hosing down your wellies after each use and once a month wash off excess dirt with just water and for a deep clean use water with a mild soap. Gently scrub with a soft bristle brush until your boot is clean, then leave the boots to dry naturally (not on a direct heat source).
• Once dry, we recommend a rubber conditioner or natural oil to replace the lost plasticising agents in the rubber. The rubber upper can be conditioned with a natural mineral oil such as baby oil however Grubs Boots Limited recommends the use of McNett Revivex spray.
• Please note, it is not recommended to use conditioners on the outsole areas. This may cause it to become slick in wet or icy conditions.
